The Person
Behind the Plan
Reynar IT is a deliberately focused practice. When you engage us, you work with Clayton Reynar and two decades of delivering infrastructure where failure was not an option.
From Contingency Operations to Sovereign Infrastructure
Clayton Reynar founded Reynar IT in 2013 after a career spent where infrastructure has no margin for error, beginning as IT and Communications Country Manager for Kuwait and Iraq under the U.S. Army’s LOGCAP III program.
Since then he has led data centre relocations, consolidations, and remediations for ATB, the City of Edmonton, and Rogers, including two municipal data centres moved in under 18 months with zero downtime for 930,000 residents. Clients describe the same pattern: compressed timelines, many parties, and no room for mistakes, delivered on schedule.
Today Reynar IT applies that discipline in two ways. It advises on and leads mission-critical infrastructure work: data centres, migrations, security and AI infrastructure strategy. And it licenses the Sovereignty Architecture, supporting it in the customer’s existing environment so authority, access, keys and evidence stay under Canadian control and can be examined, not just asserted.
What You Can Expect
Accountable
You work directly with the person who signs the plan, not a rotating bench.
Independent
No hardware quotas or reseller margins. Recommendations follow your constraints, and every claim is bounded by what can be validated.
Sovereign by Design
Control is enforced by the architecture and shown with evidence, not promised in a contract.
