Assisted the City with relocation of their primary and secondary data centers. The City was in two must move situations which created tight project timelines. Created the migration plan and moved both data centers over 18 months with no downtime. Delivered both projects on-time and under budget.
Assisted ATB with upgrade their production Data center to match the same architectural standards as their relocated data center.
ATB Financial was in a must move situation. The equipment in the Data center was end of life, or close to it. The approach to "move" included re-platforming all the infrastructure onto the latest technologies available. Reported to the Data center Relocation Program (DCRP) Program Manager in support of, the following work streams: Network, Security, Complex Workloads and Facilities.
As the IT and Communications Country Manager for Kuwait and Iraq during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, Clayton maintained an exceptional 98.24% network availability under extreme operational conditions. He delivered mission-critical communications to U.S. military forces and oversaw the seamless execution of the Operations Mission, Theater Transportation Mission (TTM), and Mail Mission—coordinating a complex, multinational logistics and supply chain network essential to sustained operations across the region.
